On behalf of the Canberra National Memorials Committee the Hon Simon Crean MP, Minister for Regional Development, Regional Australia and Local Government, has approved the Boer War Memorial design.   All that remains to be done is raise the money to build it.

Bungendore Boer War Memorials

There are two memorials in Bungendore, a roll of honour board in the memorial hall, Molonglo St; and a recently concecrated plaque on the town's War Memorial located on the Western side of the Bungendore Park. The Memorial faces Gibralter Street.
